(Grand Forks, ND)  --  Forecasters say recent warmth and rains have pushed up timing of the expected crest of the Red River at Fargo-Moorhead.  The latest flood update is due out later today but for now the National Weather Service predicts the swollen Red will top out at around 38-feet by around Friday.  That's well above major flood stage and three feet below last spring's record crest.  Sandbagging operations, which started earlier in preparation for flooding that was expected later in the month, are now in high gear at Fargo-Moorhead.
