(St. Paul, MN) -- Senate Democrats are proceeding with plans to send Governor Pawlenty a bill that will balance part of the state budget. But they haven't decided yet what they'll do on the most difficult areas such as health and human services, state aid to cities and counties, and K-12 education. Republicans are asking Democrats when they'll know their full budget plan. Majority Leader Larry Pogemiller says the governor hasn't given his full plan either, because his budget relies on federal stimulus money Congress hasn't even passed yet. But Senate Minority Leader Dave Senjem warns the governor won't go along with doing the budget a bit at a time.
