Duluth, MN (KDAL) A mediation session in St. Paul between negotiators with AFSCME Local 66 and the city of Duluth has resulted in a tentative contract agreement. According to AFSCME's Jennifer Mundt, the agreement was reached about 4:30 Thursday morning after nearly 19 hours of bargaining. Mundt says union members will be urged to vote to approve the contract but details of the agreement have been embargoed until workers have a chance to look them over. The union had threatened to go on strike next week if no agreement was reached.
