State Budget Forecast Improves From November

(St.Paul, MN)  --  The latest economic forecast shows Minnesota's state budget deficit shrinking by about 200-million dollars, to just under a billion dollars.  That's not a big drop, but for lawmakers every little bit helps as they tackle a big budget shortfall in tough economic times.
