Authorities Confirm St. Joseph Investigation Related To Wetterling Disappearance

(St. Cloud, MN)  --  Stearns County authorities Friday confirmed that their investigation at a farm in Saint Joseph this week is related to the abduction of Jacob Wetterling in October of 1989.  They are releasing few other details about a two-day search that ended Thursday.  Officials say a number of items were seized from the Rassier farm and will require additional processing and analysis, which could take several weeks or possibly months to complete.  No arrests have been made.  The four search warrants issued this week remain sealed by court order.  Officials say the release of this information could severely hamper the ongoing investigation.
